Jonathan Ryan, an internationally acclaimed organist and winner of numerous prizes in organ performance, will perform music of Flor Peeters, J. S. Bach, Robert Schumann, Calvin Hampton, and Paul Manz on Mount Olive’s legendary Schlicker organ.
Ryan is currently director of music and organist at Christ Church Cranbrook (Episcopal), Bloomfield Hills, Michigan. He holds degrees from the Cleveland Institute of Music and the Eastman School of Music and has performed around the world. His most recent recital appearance brought him to the restored organ of the Cathedral of Notre-Dame in Paris earlier this summer.
